Franz & Kristie Martens

Franz

Raised in Canada to Russian/German parents, Franz met Jesus when he was 17. Fascinated by missionaries visiting his home church, he went on a short-term mission trip upon graduation from high School. Convinced in his calling to full-time ministry, he graduated from Ethnos 360 Institute (formerly New Tribes Mission) to prepare a life in missions.

With a BA in Intercultural Ministry and an MA in Christian Counseling, his passion for missions has given him the opportunity to serve all over the globe.

Kristie

Born into an American missionary family, Kristie met Jesus at a very young age. Given her early exposure to the need for missionaries, she chose early in life to follow Christ into missions.

Having earned a B.A. in Multicultural Ministry from Ethnos 360 Institute, she clearly understands what it takes to fulfill the Great Commission. With a gift for hospitality, anyone fortunate enough to know her has experienced a special blessing.

 Family

Franz & Kristie have three children and two grandchildren.

Ministry

Franz & Kristie currently serve as church planters in Germany and planted a multicultural church, Fellowship Potsdam, in 2021. Their passion is ministry among immigrants and students who have come to Germany to study and seek opportunities for a better life. Kristie works at an international school, where she interacts with third-culture kids daily. Franz is working to complete his doctorate in church planting while serving as the lead pastor for FP. He also writes books in his spare time.
